Canonical 的 Ubuntu 桌面負責(zé)人 Martin Wimpress 現(xiàn)在正在構(gòu)建一個新的基于 Ubuntu 的發(fā)行版 “Ubuntu Retro Remix”，專門為 Raspberry Pi愛好者和retro game而設(shè)計。

Ubuntu Retro Remix基于 Ubuntu Linux 的非官方操作系統(tǒng)，用于在 Single Board ComputerRaspberry Pi上運行retro game。受支持的 Raspberry Pi 型號包括 Raspberry Pi 4、Raspberry Pi 3 和 Raspberry Pi 2。

Martin Wimpress 是一位retro game老玩家。在此之前，他就已經(jīng)使用 RetroPie 構(gòu)建了一些 Raspberry Pi retro game 游戲機。但 Martin表示，他覺得自己無法從中學(xué)到任何新知識。因此，他啟動了這個新的 Ubuntu remix項目;不僅是為了學(xué)習(xí)，也是為了所有想在 Pi 上開箱運行 retro game的玩家。用戶無需在 Raspberry Pi 上安裝 Ubuntu for Raspberry Pi，然后再安裝 RetroPi，而只需在 Raspberry Pi 上安裝 Ubuntu Retro Remix，即可體驗retro game。

根據(jù)項目描述，Ubuntu Retro Remix 發(fā)行版可以在一些基于 Raspberry Pi 的retro game游戲機中運行，包括MegaPi for Mega Drive，NESPi+ for NES Classic 以及 SuperPi for Super Nintendo(SNES)。
